He had sown corn in the field. The need was of a good rain.  Throughout the day, Lencho sat in his house waiting for the rain to come. Even a small shower would have been enough for the field he had grown his crops.

But, when the rain came, it brought with it destruction. It was a hailstorm which left all the valley covered with while snow. Lencho was upset as his all hardwork resulted into nothing. But, he had faith in the God. He wrote a "letter to God", believing that he would be the only one who could help him in his bad times. He wrote a letter addressing to God. He asked the God to send him 100 pesos so that his family and he himself can survive in such a difficult time.

The postman found Lencho's letter to God. He was very humble and kind in nature. When he saw that a person had written a letter addressing to the God, he was surprised. He wished as if he had the same faith in God as Lencho. He read the letter and decided to help Lencho. He very well knew that there is no address of God to which Lencho's letter could be delivered. Hence he decided to help Lencho by himself and not let his faith down. But he managed to send only seventy pesos.  But after seeing Lencho second letter to God, everyone including the postman felt very sad. In his second letter Lencho had complained to God about the people working the post office itself.
